How It Began

The Other Side of Boracay

Most visitors arrive at Boracay's Caticlan Jetty Port and head straight to the crowded station areas along White Beach — the island's famous western shore. Happy's Homestay chose the road less taken, planting roots on Tambisaan Beach on Boracay's quieter eastern side.

The homestay takes its name — and its spirit — from "Happy," a word that captures everything the property promises. The Filipino family behind Happy's built it as a genuine home first, a guesthouse second. They wanted guests to feel what Boracay truly is: warm, generous, and unhurried.

Tambisaan was the perfect setting. Away from the bustle of White Beach, this eastern shore is known for its calm waters ideal for snorkeling over coral reefs, its coconut-palm-lined beach where fishing bancas drift quietly past, and its sunrises — unobstructed by the crowds that gather on the other side of the island.
